Agent
Hardening Agents: attack it before anyone else does
Passing tests does not mean the work is safe. The hardening agents look for what tests tend to miss, and they keep looking until a full pass finds nothing.
What they audit
- Concurrency: races and ordering problems.
- Persistence: data that is lost or corrupted.
- Security: access control, injection and exposed secrets.
- Contracts: interfaces that no longer match their documentation.
How the loop works
Several auditors work in parallel, each through a different lens, and their number scales with the risk and size of the work. Every finding is fixed, then the work is audited again. The loop ends when a pass comes back clean, not when a deadline arrives.
Hardening before code
Specifications are audited the same way before implementation starts, so the gaps an audit would find later are closed while they are still cheap to fix.
